These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of services provided by Roots of Violet, owned and operated by Dorea (“I,” “me,” “my”). By booking a reading or otherwise engaging with my services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.

Services Offered

Roots of Violet offers written, channeled spiritual readings delivered as a PDF via email. Current offerings include the Soul Purpose Reading (Adult), the Soul Purpose Reading for Babies & Children, the Intuitive Guidance Reading, and the Follow Up Question add-on.

I do not offer live readings, phone calls, video sessions, or in-person services.

Delivery

Soul Purpose Readings are typically delivered within 1 to 2 weeks of booking. Intuitive Guidance Readings are typically delivered within 7 to 10 days of booking. To honor the depth of this work and my capacity, longer windows may be required during busier seasons. If current wait times are extended, it will be noted at booking.

If a reading cannot be delivered within a reasonable extended window due to circumstances on my end, I will reach out to discuss options, which may include rescheduling delivery or providing a refund.

Refund Policy

Refunds are available within 48 hours of booking, provided I have not yet begun channeling your reading. After 48 hours, or once channeling has begun, readings are non-refundable.

If something in your reading does not immediately resonate after delivery, you are welcome to reach out so we can discuss it. Basic clarifying questions are always welcome at no charge. Resonance concerns are not grounds for refunds, as the reading reflects what came through during channeling.

Nature of the Work

Readings are channeled spiritual offerings. They are not predictive in a fixed sense and are not a substitute for professional legal, medical, financial, mental health, or other licensed services.

I do not offer:

  • Legal advice or guidance on legal disputes

  • Medical diagnoses or guidance on medications, treatments, or health decisions

  • Specific financial decisions or investment guidance

  • Pregnancy or fertility readings

  • Mental health crisis intervention

  • Readings centered on what another person is thinking, feeling, or going to do

Any guidance shared in a reading is energetic in nature and reflects what came through at the time of channeling. You are responsible for any decisions you make based on the content of your reading. I am not liable for actions taken or outcomes resulting from interpretations of a reading.

Mental Health and Crisis Care

If you are currently in a mental health crisis, please prioritize professional support. This work is not designed to substitute for the care of a licensed therapist, counselor, or crisis professional. In the United States, you can call or text 988 to reach the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.

Readings for Children

The Soul Purpose Reading for Babies & Children is offered for children from infancy through age seven. For children under seven, parental authority is sufficient for me to access the Akashic Records. For children seven and older, I ask that you obtain the child's permission before booking.

By booking a reading for a child, you confirm that you have the legal authority to do so and, where applicable, that you have obtained the child's permission.

Akashic Records Consent

I will only open the Akashic Records of the person consenting to the reading or, where applicable, your child under the age of seven. I will not access the Records of any third party named or referenced in your reading. Energetic impressions of others may surface naturally, but the focus of every reading remains on the person who booked it.

Share & Save Program

Clients who opt in to the Share & Save program at booking grant Roots of Violet a perpetual, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to share their reading, in full or in part, in the following ways:

  • On Roots of Violet's social media accounts, including Instagram, TikTok, and Substack

  • In future written or published works, including but not limited to articles, essays, newsletters, and books

  • In marketing materials, including website portfolio examples, course or workshop materials, and promotional content

All identifying information, including name, location, and specific personal references, will be anonymized before sharing. I retain full editorial discretion to omit any portion of a reading that is too sensitive, specific, or otherwise unsuitable for anonymization.

This permission is granted at the time of booking and applies to future use. Clients who do not wish to share their reading should not opt in to the Share & Save program. Clients who opt in are not entitled to compensation, royalties, or attribution beyond the discount applied at booking.

Intellectual Property

All readings, including written content, channeled material, and any associated documents, remain the intellectual property of Roots of Violet. Upon delivery, clients receive a personal-use license to read, return to, and reflect on their reading. Clients may not republish, resell, or otherwise redistribute their reading without written permission.

Privacy

Information shared at booking and during intake is treated as confidential and used only for the purpose of channeling and delivering your reading. Personal information is not sold or shared with third parties. For additional information about how Squarespace handles transaction data, please refer to their privacy policy.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Roots of Violet, including Dorea individually, shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of services, including but not limited to decisions made based on the content of a reading. Total liability for any claim arising from these services shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific reading in question.

Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. The most current version will always be available on this page. Continued engagement with Roots of Violet after Terms are updated constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
